Job Overview
Servpro is seeking a dedicated/detail-oriented Restoration Technician. The candidate will be responsible for restoring properties affected by fire, water, mold, and other damages. This role requires hands-on work in various environments; knowledge of specialized tools and techniques are required to ensure safe and effective restoration process.
Prior experience in the restoration industry is required.
Servpro is seeking a dedicated/detail-oriented Restoration Technician. The candidate will be responsible for restoring properties affected by fire, water, mold, and other damages. This role requires hands-on work in various environments; knowledge of specialized tools and techniques are required to ensure safe and effective restoration process.
Prior experience in the restoration industry is required.
Duties
- Perform water damage restoration, fire restoration, mold remediation.
- Know how to use hand tools and power tools for demolition, cleaning, and repair tasks.
- Conduct carpet cleaning and other surface cleaning procedures to restore properties.
- Assist with reconstruction minor repairs and other recon duties.
- Operate specialized equipment for moisture detection, air filtration, and debris removal.
- Follow cleaning protocols use appropriate techniques for different types of damage.
- Follow safety procedures during all restoration activities to ensure personal and team safety.
- Document work performed and communicate with project managers about job progress.
- Prior Servpro experience and knowledge of daybook is preferred
Requirements
- Knowledge of fire restoration, water damage restoration, mold remediation, and carpet cleaning is preferred.
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and other specialized equipment safely and effectively.
- Understanding of safety protocols related to mold handling and hazardous materials.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in all aspects of restoration work.
- Physical ability to perform manual labor including lifting, bending, crawling, and working in confined spaces.
- Valid driver’s license is preferred for travel between job sites.
- Work authorization
Compensation: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour
